Delete your account

Account deletion for the Climber Map app.

From the app

1. Open Climber Map and make sure you are signed in.
2. Tap your profile picture to open the account sheet.
3. Tap Delete account and confirm.

Deletion is immediate and cannot be undone. You need a network connection, because the account is removed on the server.

If you no longer have the app

Email support@climbermap.com from the address you signed in with, and ask for your account to be deleted. We will confirm once it is done.

What is deleted

• Your account and sign-in credentials.
• Your profile — display name and avatar.
• Any unpublished fieldwork saved on your own phone.

What is kept

If you contributed edits to the guidebook — crag and route information other climbers now rely on — those edits stay, because removing them would take away data the community depends on. They are no longer credited to you: your name, email, and account id are erased from the edit history, and the remaining record cannot be traced back to you.

Photos you uploaded are stored without any link to your account, so they carry no personal information to remove.
